"One man's trash is another man's treasure" as the saying goes, but Code Enforcement Officers know better.  If it attracts pests, if it smells, if it brings flies, if it rots, breaks, or goes foul, odds are it's trash trash trash!  Trash and debris on private property is one of the most common nuisance violations in our industry, and one of the most hazardous.  That's why the State of Texas has special regulations for dealing with trash and the people that allow it to remain a danger to the public.  Examine this module to learn more about trash, why it's so dangerous, and what we as Code professionals can do about it.
